Australian Tableware Brands We Love

Australian Tableware Brands We Love

There’s something special about setting the table with pieces that have been thoughtfully made.

Across Australia, talented makers are creating beautiful crockery designed to be used and enjoyed every day, from relaxed Sunday lunches to roast night with friends.

Today we’re sharing a few Australian-owned tableware brands whose serving platters have caught our eye. Because when a beautiful roast comes out of the oven, it deserves a beautiful place to land.

Kim Wallace Ceramics

The Vintage Lace Serving Platter by Kim Wallace is simply beautiful.

Kim creates her ceramics from her studio in the Noosa hinterland, and her pieces have that lovely handmade feel — elegant, but still relaxed enough for everyday use.

This platter would look right at home in the centre of the table for Sunday roast.

Mud Australia

Mud Australia has long been a favourite of mine.

Their platters come in a range of beautiful colours, soft neutrals as well as deeper tones, and each piece has that signature minimalist elegance Mud is known for.

I’m not sure I could stop at just one.

No.22 Home

The Peppa Hart Coco Platter by No.22 Home is a real showstopper.

It has that perfect balance of personality and sophistication. I also love their classic white oval platter — a timeless piece you’d reach for again and again.

In The Roundhouse

If you’re someone who loves a little colour on the table, In The Roundhouse is hard to beat.

Their platters are playful, joyful and full of personality. Perfect for adding a pop of colour when entertaining.

Robert Gordon Pottery

Robert Gordon has been making pottery in Australia for generations.

Their Natural Earth Oblong Platter is simple, understated and incredibly versatile. The kind of piece that would look good on any table.

So many beautiful Aussie makers

Of course, there are many more Australian brands I could mention.

But these are the platters that have been grabbing my attention lately. The kind of pieces that make serving a roast feel just that little bit more special.
