My first idea was a spatter guard made from fine mesh. But even with two stacked together, the oven walls still ended up greasy — and the mesh wore out far too quickly.

So — back to the drawing board I went.

With the help of some clever engineers, designers and graphic artists, we refined the concept over and over until it became the pan I’d always wished existed — complete with thoughtful details that make cooking with it a joy.

But the true hero of this roaster? The lid.

That flimsy little mesh idea grew up into a sturdy, single-mould, vented stainless steel spatter guard cover. 

Here’s what it does:

• Lets steam escape so your roast doesn’t go soggy
• Circulates hot air for an all-over crisp
• Catches fat spatters so your oven stays clean

And the result? A golden, juicy, crisp roast.
